Army Birthday Celebration, Run and Cake Cutting

The third annual Team Redstone Army Birthday Run will be held Fri., June 12, at 6 a.m. in the Exchange parking lot.

A cake cutting ceremony will follow the run in celebration of the U.S. Army’s 240th birthday.

Anyone with access to Redstone Arsenal is encouraged to attend and run either the 5K or 2.5K route. Soldiers, civilians, families and friends are welcome.

This is not a timed event and registration or advance sign up is not required.

“This is a great event and we love to see Team Redstone come together to celebrate our Army’s birthday,” said Chris Colster, Redstone Arsenal Spokesman. “It’s important to pause and realize that generations have gone before us who have set our standards very high.”
