The drawing held April 25 for one of three proof Kennedy Half Dollars thrilled three lucky winners. The three winners were Jenna Coffman, Misty Warren (shown at left with Bob Jaques) and Dr. Max Merrill. The drawing culminated a weeklong exhibit of Kennedy Half Dollars in conjunction with National Coin Week.  The exhibit was held at Bank Independent in Hartselle. According to Bank Independent  president David Burleson, “The Kennedy Half Dollar exhibit was seen by many bank customers and the public. We heard good comments from those who viewed the exhibit.”The Bank may host another interesting coin exhibit next year during the 2015 National Coin Week.
