Women’s Connection to have fall festival

Decatur Women’s Connection will meet for its monthly luncheon on Fri., Oct. 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at Decatur Country Club.

All women are invited to attend this event, enjoy a meal, hear from an inspirational speaker and enjoy an entertaining feature. At the October meeting, the organization will have its annual fall festival.

All of the women are asked to “bake some, make some, and buy some.” Silent auction begins at 10:30 a.m. and the live auction follows at 11 a.m. The inspirational speaker will be Susan Smith from Lawrenceville, Ga. She will speak on the topic entitled “There is hope when you are tired of trying to measure up.”

There are no dues or membership costs. The luncheon is $15 and complimentary child care is available if requested ahead of time.
