Danville wins pool at Eddie Preuitt Tourney

The Danville Lady Hawks (14-4) won its preliminary pool in the Eddie Preuitt Ford Tournament at Hartselle High School Friday night.
Danville beat East Limestone 25-19, 25-16 and Briarwood 26-24, 25-16.
Sydni Shelton led the way with 30 kills, 10 digs, three blocks and five aces. Kheala Roberts added 11kills and 12 digs while Kellee Stiles finished the first day with six kills, 10 digs and two blocks. Breann Tuck assisted 31 times while Charlee Anderson had 11 assists.
Sloan Lindsey added 18 digs and Andrea Carter served four aces.
