Susan Smith is the chairperson of the group. She has filled 50 boxes and is seeking donations and helpers to fill more boxes. Items needed for boys and girls, ages 2 to 12 years of age, are summer clothes, small toys, hygiene and grooming aids, school supplies, flip flops, socks, underwear, barrettes, headbands, scrunches and bows. All liquids should be in Ziploc bags and no food or candy is allowed. Four dollars goes with each box to ensure that the box goes to the missionaries and to the needy children. Some churches are packing boxes on Wed. nights. On Sun., Aug. 4, some members packed boxes after the fellowship lunch. Boxes and some items are available at the church.
