HCS accepting lawn care bids for 2013-2014

ATTENTION:

 

Hartselle City Schools will be accepting quotes for lawn care services (twelve (12) month contract) at the following locations:

1. Barkley Bridge Elementary, 2333 Barkley Bridge Road SW,

Hartselle, AL 35640

2. F. E. Burleson Elementary, 1100 Bethel Road NE, Hartselle, AL 35640

3. Crestline Elementary, 600 Crestline Drive SW, Hartselle, AL

4. Hartselle Intermediate School, 130 Petain St., SW, Hartselle, AL

5. Hartselle Junior High School, 904 South Sparkman St., Hartselle, AL

6. Hartselle High School, 1000 Bethel Road NE, Hartselle, AL 35640

 

This proposal agrees to provide the customer with the following services for 1 year (12 month) term: Please quote each location individually.

 

MOWING, EDGING, TRIMMING AND OTHER MAINTENANCE:

 

All turf areas will be mowed weekly during the mowing season (as needed year round). Mowing height will be determined at time of cutting. Clippings will be mulched into the grass as long as they are not visible. If grass remains visible the debris will be cleaned up. All sidewalks, fences, driveways, parking lots, building adjacent to turf, and beds will be edged every cutting.

All clippings will be removed from sidewalks, curbs and roadways immediately after mowing and/or edging and blow off parking lot areas each session. All shrubs, trees and Crepe Myrtles will be trimmed and maintained in the Spring and Fall (further trimming may be as needed). All properties will be mulched in the Spring after bedding plants are trimmed. Leaf removal will be done in the Fall as well as blowing off drive, parking lot and sidewalks.
