“HayDay!” vacation Bible school will be Sat., Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 250 Forrest Chapel Road in Hartselle. Kids will be up to their elbows in farming fun. It will also feature Bible stories, crafts, refreshments and lunch. Water activities, so bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen. Tunsel Road Baptist Church in Hartselle will host a Swamp John’s dinner on Mon., Aug. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. $10 per plate, choice of fish, chicken or shrimp, or combination. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Seeds of Love hours of operation have changed to Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m. This is both a food ministry as well as a baby supply ministry.
