Goodbye to yard sales ‘til spring

Monday through Friday, Nathan has to blast me out of bed but on Saturday, I’m up at the crack of dawn looking through the classifieds searching for yard sales and garage sales. I have so much fun mapping out all the places I want to go so I can find bargains. With the recent change in the weather, they are pretty much over til spring unless they are inside.

If you haven’t purchased your New Center Baptist Church cookbook, you’ll need to do so before they are gone. My mother gave me one for my birthday and I love it. One of the reasons I love it so much is that I know those who have recipes in it and that makes it special.

Love and sympathy to the family and friends of Wendell Shedd, Donna Smith and Shirley Reeves.

Get well wishes to Shorty Briscoe and Chad Bloodworth.

Continue to remember those in your prayers that have recently gone through Hurricane Sandy. The damage is just so devastating.

Happy birthday to Ethan Cobbs, Nov. 1; Susie Blankenship, Nov. 2; Virgie Hopper, Nov. 3; Donna Robertson, Nov. 4; Cayden Berry, Nov. 5; Katie Barton, Lauren Smith, Nov. 6; Vince Lamberti, Sierra Free, Evelyn Matthews, Lewis Fichter, Royce Goree, Nov. 7; Pat Creel, Dewayne Holmes, Nov. 8; Roxanne Chisgar, Robbie Chandler, Nov. 9; Charley Yeager, Nov. 10; Stephanie Jansen, Nov. 11.

Happy anniversary to Von and Margaret Yeager, Nov. 3; Bruce and Angela Boswell, Nov. 8; Jeremy and Aubrei Parker, Nov. 8; Richard and Jennifer Herbert, Nov. 9; Harold and Karen Plemons, Nov. 10; James and Cindy Lemmonds, Nov. 11.
