New Center Baptist to hold Trunk or Treat Oct. 31

Have you ever considered that timing is everything? So many times we see things as being coincidental but it’s actually a good thing. God’s timing is perfect because he has specific purposes and plans for us. God will open doors when the timing is right.

Happy birthday to: Jonathan Nelson, both on Oct. 20; Peggy Shadden and Jeaneen Dean, both on Oct. 23; Cindy Lackey and Jon Sharp, both on Oct. 25; Dakota Free, Doc Thompson and Colton Gibson, all on Oct. 26; Kathryn Monk, Roxanne Tucker and Tammy Lucas, all on Oct. 27; Kristy Halbrooks and Joy Pratt, both on Oct. 28.

Happy anniversary to Zac and Michelle Ferrell on Oct. 23; Shannon and Kasonyia Briggs on Oct. 24; Daniel and Solita Matthews on Oct. 28.

Fall Fun Night is Oct. 27, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Somerville Baptist Church. There will be inflatables, games, candy, prizes, and hot dogs, and it’s free. For more information, contact the church at 256-778-8844.

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, so don’t forget to thank your pastor for his or her hard work.

New Center Baptist Church will have a Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.

This year, participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles as a person from the Bible for the children to enjoy. Get ready for a wonderful night full of fun and treats.
