A graveside service for Wilma Copeland Tapscott, 92, of Hartselle will be Thur., Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Terry Nappier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thur. from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home prior to service.

Mrs. Tapscott died Mon., Oct. 15, 2012, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born Jan. 17, 1920, in Tennessee to Jesse Irving Copeland and Annie Franks Copeland. She was a housewife and a wonderful mother, grandmother and was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, John Harold Tapscott.

She is survived by three sons, Bobby Tapscott and wife Karen and Billy Tapscott and wife Dianne, both of Falkville and Johnny Tapscott and wife Cindy of Decatur; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
