County BOE personnel action items for Oct. 11 meeting

Personnel items recommended by Superintendent Bill Hopkins were approved as follows:

•Approved supplemental contract with Melanie Dickerson as assistant volleyball coach at West Morgan High School.

•Approved a catastrophic leave request from Amy Ellis, countywide speech pathologist.

•Accepted the resignation of Amy Crow, countywide special education aide.

•Approved the following contracts for tutoring services: Suzanne Blackman/DNE, Tammy Evans/DNE, Carolyn Matthews/DNE, Melissa Parker/DNE, Holly Powell/DNE, Sandra Schofield/DNE, Kim Smith/DNE, Carl Stanford/PES, Meredith Eubanks/Eva, Tracy Bromirski/ Eva, Meredith Eubanks/Eva, Mary Jane McCutcheon/Eva, Kim Woods/Eva, Marilyn Turner/Cotaco, Debbie Thomason/Cotaco, Kathy Harrity/Cotaco, Eva Dobbs/Cotaco, Angela Curtis/Cotaco, Kim Crow/Cotaco, Lenita Bladow/Cotaco, Johnetta Turner/Sparkman, Sharon Stephenson/Sparkman, T Rhonda Corder.Sparkman, Deborah Bramlett,Sparkmna, Jeb Baeder.West Morgan Elementary School and Donya Brewington/West Morgan Elementary School.

•Approved Stacey Smith as a math teacher at Priceville Junior High School. She is replacing Garry Pressley who transferred.

•Approved Shannon Hulse as a teacher’s aide at Sparkman School.

•Approved Jessica Crawford as a CNP worker at Sparkman School. She is replacing Melanie Fortenberry who resigned.

•Approved Donna Tomlinson as a part-time library aide at Union Hill School.

•Accepted the resignation of Jill Faulkner as volleyball coach at Cotaco.

•Approved a catastrophic leave of absence request from Carrie Knop Johnson, a teacher at West Morgan Elementary School, effective Oct. 1 through Dec. 21 as needed.

• Approved an employee supplemental contract with John Paulin as assistant coach for both boys’ and girls’ soccer at Pricevlle High School.

•Approved a supplemental contract with Lisa Bowen as 7th and 8th grade football coach at Cotaco School.

•Approved a supplemental contract with Brian Ellis as 9th grade boys’ basketball coach at Danville High School.

•Approved a supplemental contract for Tonya Finch as speech and drama sponsor at Danville High School.

•Approved Lyndsay Faye Green as secondary language arts teacher at Priceville Junior High School. She is replacing Jamie Smith who retired.

•Approved William Eason as a 12-month custodian at Eva School. He is replacing Melenia Long who resigned.
