Out of state field trip requests for the Morgan County School System were approved as follows:

• A field trip to Washington, D.C., for April 18-21, 2013, was approved for approximately 50 Danville Middle School students.

• The Morgan County Robotics Team was approved for a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. for Feb. 27-March 2, 3013, to participate in the FIRST Robotics Palmetto Regional Competition.

• Brewer High School Bands students were approved for a trip to Orlando, Fla., for March 23-27 to participate in the Disney Performing Arts Onstage Program.

•Brewer’s Spanish Club students were approved for a trip to Nashville, Tenn., on Nov. 17 to attend a program at the Grand Ole Opry as a reward for a completed service project.
