A four-man scramble golf tournament benefiting Ed Rose will be held Sat., Oct. 20, at 8 a.m.

Cost is $75 per player and includes cart and lunch. Make a hole-in-one and participants can win a car, Iron Bowl tickets and more.

Rose is the 36-year-old son of Eddie Rose, current Alfa agent. Ed was born with a hearing disability and, finally, doctors are able to perform a cochlear implant to give Ed the ability to hear. Insurance will not cover this $60,000 procedure.

Ed’s doctor has contacted a foundation that is willing to pick up the majority of this bill as long as a charitable event takes place to make a donation for this.
