Alumni tailgate set for this Friday before game

Red and Rassie Wallace are firing up the grill and getting ready for the first “event” for the Hartselle Alumni Association.

This newly formed group is for all persons who have attended Morgan County High School/Hartselle High School and those who are interested in supporting our schools.

A tailgating event will be held before the Hartselle vs. Decatur game on Fri., Sept. 28. Tickets for a rib-eye steak sandwich dinner are now being sold for $10, which includes steak sandwich, dessert, chips and a drink. The sandwiches will be cooked by the Morgan County Cattlemen’s Association.

Tickets may be purchased at Hartselle High School, Hartselle Sporting Goods, Dr. Mark Hendrix Office, Dr. David Sittason office, Silhouettes and Copeland Classic Cleaners.

For more information about joining the Hartselle Alumni Association, contact Tresa McGhee at tresamcghee@aol.com. Dues are $30 yearly for one person, $50 for a couple, and college students are free.
