Funeral for Karen Elizabeth “Beth” Swafford, 53, of Huntsville will be Fri., Sept. 21, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Fri., Sept. 21, 2012 from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Miss Swafford died on Wed., Sept. 19, 2012, at Crestwood Medical Center. She was born Sept. 25, 1958, in Hartselle to Dr. Kenneth Lionel Swafford and Sybil Free Swafford. Beth was a proud graduate of Auburn University and loved Auburn football. She had many friends and was loved by family and friends very much. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr.

Kenneth Swafford.

She is survived by her mother, Sybil Free Swafford of Hartselle; a brother, Mark Swafford and wife Debbie of Athens; and a sister, Celia Hodge and husband Steve of Ohio.

Pallbearers will be Dave Draper, John Nugent, Charlie Blass, Wade Blass, Reggie Corum and Kevin Corum.
