Funeral service for Phillip Evans, 56, of Falkville will be Fri., Sept. 7, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Missionary Grove Baptist Cemetery in Cullman County. Visitation will be Thur., Sept. 6, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Evans died on Mon., Sept. 3, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Fri., July 27, 1956, in Morgan County to Ralph Stinson Evans and Millie Rae Johnson Evans. Mr. Evans loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Evans.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Gable Evans of Falkville; a daughter, Brandy Evans Speegle of Falkville; One Grandchild, Aubrey Evans Speegle; a brother, Michael Evans of Falkville; and a sister, Jan Evans Hopkins of Falkville.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Bates, Doug Cannon, Greg Wyle, Jerry Hopkins, Jared Hopkins and Troy Puckett.
