Women’s Connection sets Sept. meeting

The Women’s Connection will meet at the Decatur Country Club on Fri., Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a meal and get-together. Featured entertainment will be a local musical group “Plus One.” They will present gospel and patriotic songs.

The inspirational speaker will be Julie Morris of Birmingham. She has authored 10 books and is founder of Step Forward, a Christian weight loss program. At the luncheon, she will tell how to overcome worry after spending a lifetime as a “worry wart.”

Please join us. There are no dues or membership costs. The luncheon is $15. Complimentary childcare is provided.

Contact Betty Hoffman at 256-355-7182 betty3010@att.net or Teresa Borden at 832-368-4121 tborden19@yahoo.com by Wed., Sept. 5, for reservations.
