Priceville school bonds sold
The Morgan County Board of Education now has the money to build the new Priceville High School.
School Superintendent Bill Hopkins told the Priceville Town Council Thursday night during its regular meeting that they were expected to have the $26.5 million in the system’s bank account by Friday.
While he didn’t expect the school system would use the property donated by the town, Hopkins said that helped get the Priceville school project moving.
“There was just too much work we were going to have to do on that property,” Hopkins said. “But we are expected to make an offer on the property today.”
