The Hartselle Junior High School eighth grade volleyball team won first place in the West Morgan Junior High Volleyball Invitational Tournament on Aug. 25.

Twelve local teams competed in the tournament: Lawrence County, Brookhaven, Union Hill, Eva, Elkmont, Addison, Oak park, Hartselle, Cotaco, Danville, Priceville and Cedar Ridge.
