Tryouts for the 2012-2013 Hartselle Lady Tigers varsity and junior varsity softball teams has been scheduled Mon., Aug. 13, and Tues., Aug. 14, at 4 p.m. at the Grady and Margie Long Softball Complex.

Girls entering the ninth grade as well as any girls enrolled in the sophomore, junior and senior classes at the high school are urged to try out for the teams, according to head coach Christy Ferguson.

“We currently have 17 players on our roster,” Ferguson said, “and we’d like to bring that number up to at least 25 players.”

Parents are asked not to attend the tryouts.
