Jada Tarpley honored with bridal tea

Jada Tarpley, bride-elect of Trey Chowning, was honored with a bridal tea on April 1, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Falkville in the fellowship hall.

Hostesses for the event were the women of First Baptist Church.

The party room was decorated with heirloom flowers in pale pinks and greens with antique and vintage serving pieces. Petite Fours, tea sandwiches, cheese straws, fruit and chocolate nuts were served to the honoree and 75 guests.

A group of women in the Ann Whitley Circle from First Baptist Church of Falkville took a trip to Scottsboro last Saturday. They visited several historical sites, enjoyed shopping and had lunch at the Magnolia House. The ladies that enjoyed the day were Patricia Ramey, Sylvia Halbrooks, Charlotte Morris, Deborah Thompson, Dennett Wood, Denise Weaver and Patsy Coots.
