Joan Walling Kearce

Funeral for Joan Walling Kearce, 65, of Hartselle will be Mon., April 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Rich Thompson officiating.

Visitation will be Mon., April 16, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Kearce died Thur., April 12, 2012, at her residence after a 51-month battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 3, 1947, in Morgan County to Harold Walling and Lucille Rhodes Walling. She was a lifelong resident of Hartselle and a loving mother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eddie Walling.

She is survived by two sons, Tiff Lee Kearce and Ambus Trevor Kearce; a daughter, Kasey Kearce; two brothers, Ty Walling and Connie Walling; and a sister, June Brazell.

The family’s thoughts and prayers are with those who continue to fight the battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
