Key’s are proud parents of twins

I hope everyone had a great week. They said the groundhog saw its shadow but it seems like spring already with all of the rain and mild temperatures.

Somerville Assembly’s women meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. They have devotional and prayer. All women who reside in the Somerville area are invited.

I enjoyed visiting at the home of J.D. and Sally Williams last week.

Bro. Jacob Daugette and wife Ashley visited with George B. Henry last week. He has been under the weather for quite some time, Prayers go out for him. His daughter Shirley Mays and granddaughter Notoshia and grandson Trent are George’s full-time caregivers. They are doing a great job of taking care of him.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Donna Orr.

Brewer’s baseball team is attending a spring camp in Florida this week.

Congratulations to Richard and Carol Key. They became proud parents of twins, one boy and one girl, on Feb. 1. Two more Alabama fans are in the making.

Congratulations also to Lilly Koener on becoming a grandmother. Her baby grandson was born on Feb. 3.

Prayers and get well wishes go out to J.D. Williams, George B. Henry, Jayla Ricks and Jayla Orr, who is having knee surgery.

Sympathy goes out to the Gilchirst family following the death of a loved one.

Jayla Daugette spend last Saturday night with her cousins, Julie Daugette and Jeannie and Jaden Moore.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Carley Landers.

Love and prayers go out for Jean Wallace.

Happy birthday wishes and much love go out to Bobby Daugette.

The youth of Somerville Assembly along with pastor Jacob Daugette and other church members enjoyed ice cream at Jack’s Restaurant following last Sunday night’s service.

A big hello goes out to Faye Anders, Nell Harrison, Elisie Culbreath, Sara Jane Shurill, Colleen Moore, Gertude Wray, Mary Grace Asherbranner, all of whom are faithful Somerville News readers.

Lots of love goes out to Martha and Frank Gravatt.
