Somerville Assembly draws big crowd to Christmas play

It has been a very busy week for me as I’m sure it has been for everyone. It’s hard to believe Christmas is upon us. It seems as though it was just last week we were writing about summer vacations.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and to ask everyone to remember the reason for this holiday season.

Somerville Assembly held its Christmas play and dinner on Sunday night. There were 72 people in attendance. A speand a spercial thank you goes out to Rodger McClure for his help. Also we appreciate Bro. Chuck Stewart and his church members for attending.

Jaden Moore visited with her dad, Walter Staggs, on Sunday afternoon.

Vickey Daugette visited at the home of Rodger and Judy McClure on Saturday.

Happy birthday wishes go out to John Cook, Mildred Speegle and Joan Free.
