Youth Basketball registration ends Tuesday

Hartselle Boys and Girls Youth Basketball will have its final registration on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Players must be 6 years old by Sept. 1. The fee for basketball is $60. Cheerleading is $40.

Softball league to discuss changes at meeting

Hartselle Youth Softball League will hold a community meeting on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Sparkman Civic Center to discuss proposed league changes for the 2012 season, according to Kevin Holder, president.

Holder urged coaches, parents of players and other interested citizens to attend.
