Ronald Cloer

Funeral for Ronald Cloer, 61, of Falkville will be Saturday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Gamble officiating.

Burial will be in Brooklyn Cemetery in Cullman County.

Visitation will be Sat., Aug. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cloer died Thur., Aug. 11, 2011, at his residence. He was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Morgan County to Lovick Pearson Cloer and Lura James Cloer. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Cloer and his parents. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by his wife, Olene Bailey Cloer of Falkville; a daughter, Vickie Cloer of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Hoyt Cloer of Falkville; and two sisters, Geraldine Holmes of Eva and Katherine McCollum of Hartselle.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Murphree, Weandell Holmes, Stanley Stringer, Lucky Bryan, Mack Dunlap and Hal Nash.
