Madewells celebrate 50th anniversary

Farley Everett and Ocie Johnson Madewell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Center Springs United Methodist Church of Somerville on June 12.

The celebration was hosted by their two sons, Billy Roy Madewell of Lacey’s Spring and Samuel Dale Madewell of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; daughter Catrina Madewell Mason and husband Mark of Somerville; and Pat and Suzann Madewell and Donna Wright.

They have six grandchildren, Heatherly, Brandi, Luke, Brandon, Bobbie Anne and Hollee and two great-grandchildren, Colton Roy and Haley Nicole.

They were married on June 16, 1961, at the home of the late Rev. Smith E. Ledbetter.

Approximately 85 guests attended the celebration.
