Wallace, Moon marry
Tera Nicole Wallace of Hartselle and Joseph Nicholas Moon of Decatur were married in an ocean-side ceremony at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, May 14, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. with Katherine Raymond officiating.
The Moons
The bride is the daughter of Tony Wallace and Bridget Wallace, both of Hartselle. The groom’s parents are Paul and Patricia Moon of Decatur.
A reception was held May 21, 2011, at Decatur Elks Lodge from 7 to 10 p.m.
Assisting were Diane Griffith, Kathy Wallace Spiller, Wanda West and Amy Hill. The bride’s book was attended by Makenzie Barnett.
Following a honeymoon at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple is residing in Decatur.
Prenuptial parties were as follows:
• A bridal tea was held March 19, 2011, at the bride’s home. Hostesses were Tonya Barnett, Makenzie Barnett, Bridget Wallace, Wanda West and Whitney Chappell.
• A bridal tea was held April 3, 2011, at the home of Sonie Wilson with Sonie Wilson and Martha Cooper serving as co-hostesses.
• A bridal tea was given April 9, 2011, at The Freight House in Hartselle with Wanda West and Phyllis McCaghren serving as co-hostesses.
A girl’s weekend and lingerie party was held April 14-17, 2011, at Panama City Beach with Wanda West as hostess.
A bridal luncheon was held April 16, 2011, at Panama City Beach with Mary Terry serving as hostess.
