We had a very hot week. I hope everyone was safe.

Sympathy goes out to Hoyt Henry and family in the death of his wife.
Somerville Assembly’s youth group enjoyed a cookout at the home of Pastor Jacob Daugette on Saturday afternoon. They enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, chocolate cake and watermelon. They also enjoyed playing softball and jumping on the trampoline. Attending were Jeannie, Jacob and Jaden Moore, Julie Daugette, Faith Kemp, Vickey and Ashley Daugette and Jack Kemp. All of the kids spent the night with Vickey Daugette.
The DPIT group enjoyed a company picnic at the home of Mark and Linda Mayes Saturday evening. They cooked out and enjoyed swimming.
Prayers and sympathy go out to Chris Bazzel and family in the death of his father.
A big hello goes out to Doris Powers, Wanda Taylor, Colleen Moore and Ramon and Linda Frazier this week.
Happy first anniversary wishes go out to my daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tommy Hayes.
Get-well wishes go out to Janice Whisante who broke her ankle recently.
Pastor Jacob Daugette and members of Somerville Assembly invite you to attend services with them. Sunday school is at 10 a. m. morning worship at 11 a.m. and Sunday evening services at 6 p.m. They are still looking for a 220-volt window air conditioner. Sympathy goes out to Ted and Paul Dunaway in the loss of their brother, Roy, last week.
Come out and enjoy musical concerts at the Old Morgan County Courthouse in Somerville on Tuesday evenings. Bring a lawn chair and relax.
Happy birthday wishes go out to my cousin, Tim Morrow of Union Grove on Sunday night.
A very special happy Father’s Day goes out to all of the “good” dads out there. If you have a special dad, let him know you love him on Sunday and everyday.
