Open House May 31

Ryan news

Happy Birthday wishes to Mason Kimbrell, Jose Pesina, Zachary Stevens, and Sarah Woodward.
There will be a special Open House for Ryan students and their parents/guardians on Tuesday, May 31, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Union Hill School.
Please plan to attend as this will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about band and athletics, as well as seeing the school and facilities.
Union Hill staff and students have been very kind to all of us at Ryan School and we appreciate their kindness as we go through a difficult and sad time.
The Talent Show was great.  Alex Wright, Carissa Bass, Lindsey Parker, Tommie Kennedy, Caleigh Bass, Brooklyn Terrell, Madison Grimes, Candice Cluxton, Savanna Lindsey, Mikayla Hyatt, Libby Pannell, Jamie Weathersby, English teacher, Kaitlin Hughes, Andy Wright and Brittany Stevens sang their hearts out.
Shania Casey, Bailey Wilson, Lauren Childers, Alivia Nelson and Victoria Thomas did a cool line dance to “Achy Breaky Heart” complete with western costumes.
Olivia Estes did an awesome performance to music with her hula hoop.
Not to be outdone, Jasmine Blocker nimbly picked the banjo in a duet with a guitarist and treated us to a few selections.
John Puckett, school science teacher and librarian, offered up some great music with his guitar and harmonica and added in some humor that had us all chuckling.
Coleton Bass thrilled us when he demonstrated his forms in martial arts. The height of his kicks was amazing and the crowd cheered wildly during his demonstration.
Congratulations to all our performers and thanks for the great show!!
Awards Day will be Thursday, May 26, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with kindergarten graduation.
Final exams will begin on Friday, May 27, with the seventh period exam being given.
Ryan School PTO cordially invites you to Alumni Day, Saturday, May 28, 5: 00 p.m. until?
Food is being catered by Grumpy’s and the menu is spaghetti, garlic bread and salad.  Alumni shirts will be available.
Please come to say farewell to our beloved school.
