William Chance Stevens

Funeral for William Chance Stevens, 22, of Somerville will be Wednesday, May 4, at 11 a.m. at Somerville Church of God with the Rev. Mike Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Somerville Church of God Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Somerville Church of God.
Mr. Stevens died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at his residence in Tuscaloosa. He was born December 23, 1988, in Morgan County to Darrell Wayne Stevens and Carolyn Jean Faulkner Stevens. He was a member of Somerville Church of God and a 2007 graduate of Priceville High School where he was a three star athlete, football, baseball and basketball. He was a 2011 graduate of Stillman College in Tuscaloosa and a member of the baseball team at Stillman College. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Stevens.
He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Carolyn Stevens of Somerville; a sister, Taylor Stevens of Somerville; his grandfather, Wayne Stevens of Somerville; and his grandparents, Bill and Ann Faulkner of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Rand Hutchison, Sean Blair, Josh Bedwell, Lance Hughes, Dustin Chambers and Wesley Long.
Honorary pallbearers will be Priceville High School Class of 2007 and members of Stillman College baseball team.
