Funeral for Frances Crowe Brown, 68, of Somerville will be Sunday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church with Bro. Tim Patrick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown died Thursday, April 14, 2011, at her residence. She was born May 11, 1942, in Morgan County to Robert D. Lee Crowe and Mable Othel Hopkins Crowe. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Timothy Crowe; a sister, Rita Smith; and a brother, Charles Crowe.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Joe Brown; a son, Cecil Joe “Joey” Brown II and wife Emylic of Somerville; three daughters, Sylvia Wilson and husband Peter of Arab and Paula Couch and husband Terry of Somerville; four brothers, Robert “Bobby” Crowe, Larry Crowe, Ricky Crowe and Greg Crowe; four sisters, Brenda Pettey, Patricia “Patty” Adams, Lazelle Smith and Karen Motes; and six grandchildren, Warren Wilson, Lauven Wilson, Alan Tweedie, Jessica Tweedie, Chase Couch and Tristan Couch.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
