McAbees honored on 70th anniversary

Lloyd and Ozell McAbee of Hartselle celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sunday, March 13, at a reception given in their honor by their family.
The event was held at Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle.
The McAbees were married March 22, 1941, in Flint, AL.
They have two sons, Billy McAbee and wife Wanda and Ricky McAbee and wife Charlotte, both of Hartselle; a daughter, Pat Graydon and husband Russell of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
They also have two deceased sons, Joe W. McAbee and Tommy McAbee.
