Man charged with Punkin Center theft

A Falkville man has been arrested in connection with the burglary and breaking and entering of vehicles at Lindsey’s Auto Sales in Punkin Center.
Michael Stephen Lee, 25, of Powell Chapel Road turned himself into the Jefferson County (Fla.) Sheriff’s  Office and is awaiting extradition back to Morgan County, where he is facing charges burglary and breaking and entering of a vehicle.
Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at Lindsey’s Auto Sales in the Punkin Center community of Morgan County on March 21.  The victim reported that all of the keys for the vehicles was stolen along with a computer and several other electronic devices.
Family members of Lee at the residence gave sheriff investigators a cooler full of car keys that allegedly had been stolen.
Arrest warrants were obtained for Lee and a search warrant was also obtained for the other stolen items missing from Lindsey Auto Sales.
While at the residence Sheriff Investigators located the missing computer and other electronic devices taken from Lindsey’s Auto Sales.  Also Investigators found evidence of other burglaries from the area inside Michael Lee’s bedroom.
This investigation is still ongoing with more arrests expected.
