Lyle, Woo exchange vows in Hartselle ceremony
Jessica Sarah Lyle of Hartselle and Thomas Wendall Woo Jr. of Huntsville were married December 4, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Forrest Chapel United United Methodist Church of Hartselle. Reverend Patricia Carlberg officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Randall Lyle of Hartselle.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wendall Woo Sr. of Huntsville.
The bride chose a white, strapless allover lace gown with beaded motif detail with a chapel train and fingertip veil.
She carried a bouquet of white roses and a Bible given to her by her maternal grandmother.
Serving as maid of honor was Mary Alison Lyle of De-catur, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Woo Forrester of Atlanta, Ga., sister of the groom, Rachel Marie Davidson of Huntsville, Anna Byrd Thigpen of Hartselle, Sarah Elizabeth Whit-low of Birmingham and Sally Marie Jones of Wakulla, Fla.
They wore strapless, floor length gowns in holly and carried white fur hand muffs.
Best man was the groom’s father, Thom-as Wendall Woo, Sr. of Huntsville.
Groomsmen were Robert Vincent Forr-ester, brother-in-law of the groom of Atlanta, Ga., Matthew Howell Broom of Hartselle, Matthew Garrett Mich-ael of Huntsville, Mark Allen Wilson, cousin of the groom, of Atlanta, Ga. and Brandon Hamilton Apida of Dothan.
The guest book was attended by Riley Nicole Terry, niece of the bride.
The programs were attended by Reagan Leigh Martin, niece of the bride.
The reader was Chloe Rebecca Wright, cousin of the bride.
Carol Caruso and Rebecca Lombardo served as wedding directors.
The music was provided by pianist Mary Frances Turney and vocalists Rachael Fleischman and Briley Sandlin.
A reception followed at Burningtree Country Club.
The couple honeymooned in Orange Beach, Ala. and will reside in Huntsville.

• A rehearsal party was hosted by the groom’s parents at Curry’s in Decatur.
• A couples’ shower was given on November 12, 2010, at the home of Sue and Larry Landman. It was co-hosted by Carol Williams, Lisa and Steve Wilson, Ann and Johnny Redford, Chris and Rick Wilson and Stella and Ken Wilson.
• A bachelorette party on November 27, 2010, in Huntsville.
• A Meet the Couple Party was held on January 29, 2011, in Huntsville at the home of Sue and Larry Landman. It was co-hosted by Mary and Eric Adams, Jane and John Bise, Isabell and John Blue, Lisa and Frank Caprio, Carol and Joe Caruso, Karla and Mike Cash, Kathy and Harvey Cutter, Donna and Greg DeLisle, Betty Jane and Jim Gamble, Maria and Charles Ray Graham, Tricia and Barney Heyward, Pennie and Tom Keene, Becky and Mike Lambert, Sue and Larry Landman, Kathy and David McMakin, Sonja and Gary Michael, Shari and Ron Poteat, Margaret and David Powell, Libby and Mike Stanfield, Con-nie and Mark Stearns, Karen and Butch Taylor, Anne and Steve Tincher and Lou Anne and Randy Tindell.
