Downs, Whatley to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Downs of Priceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Kathleen Downs, to Clayton Todd Whatley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Whatley of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Downs of Hartselle, the late Mr. Sidney Bordelon of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Inez Bordelon of Alexandria, La. A 2007 graduate of Priceville High School, she received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with concentration in clinical exercise physiology from Missis-sippi State University.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Staudt of Hartselle and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Whatley of Falkville.
A 2007 graduate of Hartselle High School, he received his bachelor’s degree in professional meteorology from Missis-sippi State University.
The wedding is planned for May 6, 2011, at Sacred heart Catholic Church in Cullman.
