Support abused, neglected children by recycling
New Center News
Are you someone who likes to recycle? If you are then here is an opportunity for you to do so and help someone else at the same time. There ‘s an organization called St. Jude Ranch for children. It cares for children who have been abandoned, abused and neglected and has been in operation for 30 years. At the ranch, children attach pretty artwork from the fronts of greeting cards to new cards, which are sold to retail stores, online and over the telephone. Through this project the children learn work skills and are paid a salary for their work. Following are some guidelines to follow if you would like to help:
1 They accept greeting cards year around.
2. All types of cards are accepted. The most popular are birthday and holiday greeting cards.
.3. Only the fronts of cards are used, Please make sure there is no writing on the cards.
4 . Cards not accepted are American Greeting, Disney and Hallmark.
5. Sizes 5 inches by 7 inches are preferred.
6. The least expensive way to ship the cards is through the Postal Service.
Mail cards to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Recycled Card Program, 100 St. Jude’s Street, Boulder City, NV 89005.
