Making resolutions is easy, keeping them is hard

Have you made you New Years resolutions yet? I know that it’s easier to make resolutions than it is to keep them but we do make them hoping that this year we will be successful. We just have to be determined to keep them.
Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Flora Goins, Vera Couey, Imogene Gregory Huffstulter and Kathy Snow.
Christian love and sympathy is extended  to Buddy and Mary Posey in the loss of Buddy’s sister, Bertha Walls Woods, Glenda and Vince Lamberti  and family in the loss of Glenda’s stepmother, Fannie Walker and to the family and friends of Paula Taylor.
A Brotherhood Prayer Breaskfast will be held at New Center Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 7 a.m. Bro. John Stinson is director  of the group.
Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Eric Stoltz on Jan. 2, Kelly Petzold on Jan. 3, Angia Smith, Jessica Davis and Mark Emerson,  all on Jan. 6, Joe Hollis on  Jan.. 7, Amber Robinson and Kym Champion, both on Jan. 8, Horace Plemons on Jan. 9 and Barbara Thrasher on Jan. 12.
Happy birthday wishes to Gary Burrows on Jan 9.
