Iona M. Hill

A memorial service for Iona M. Hill, 81, of Adams, Wisc., formerly of Danville, was Saturday, November 6, at 3 p.m. at Roseberry’s Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisc., with pastor Sam Downey officiating.
Mrs. Hill died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at her residence. She was born January 22, 1929, in Danville. She married Jack C. Lindley in 1944 and in 1955 they moved to Illinois where they resided until they moved back to Alabama in 1980.  Jack died in 1981 and she later married Amos Hill.  She resided in Wisconsin since 2000. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack C. Lindley; a son, Rick A. Lindley; her second husband, Amos Hill; a granddaughter, Brandi Robertson; and two sisters, Hellon O’Barr and Alta “Bell” Pruett.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce DuBois and husband Richard of Friendship, Wisc. and Mary Tomschin of Adams, Wisc.; three grandsons, Tommy Kiefer of Illinois, Robert Robertson and wife Dorothy of Milwaukee, Wisc. and Charlie King and wife Mandy of Baraboo, Wisc.; five granddaughters, Melissa Lindley and Jennifer Lindley, both of Illinois, Tammy Robertson and husband Joe Jones of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc., Cheryl Killilea and husband Jim of Onalaska, Wisc. and Jackie King of Adams, Wisc.; three stepdaughters, Dinah LaCaze and Daphne Schiff and husband Dave, all of Milwaukee, Wisc. and Sally DuBois of Port Edwards, Wisc.; a stepson, Rick DuBois and wife Nicole of Mosinee, Wisc; a cousin, Hazel Kilpatrick; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and a special family friend, Rita Gianformaggio.
