Herbert, Georgia; Jeffrey Green, Ft. Benning, Ga.; Robert Green, USS Mason; Josh Fagan, Alaska; Wes Parker, Georgia; Ken Lancaster, home; and Jeremy White, Guam. God bless all of our troops and their families.
Special happy belated birthday wishes go out to Macy Alred on Nov. 1, Abby Campbell on Nov. 2 and Trent Erwin on Nov. 3.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Pat McCleskey and Tina Jones, both on Nov. 4, Charlotte Maples on Nov. 5 and Rassie Wallace and Susan Seibert, both on Nov. 6.
Happy belated wedding anniversary wishes go out to Tommy and Janis Spinks and Tommy and Edith Parker on Nov. 2. The Spinks celebrated their 25th anniversary and the Parkers marked their 19th anniversary.
Special happy anniversary wishes go out to Ronnie and Beth McCaghren who will celebrate 35 years together on Nov. 6.
Shady Grove Baptist Church members would like to remind everyone that they will observe their 11th annual Caring Day on Nov. 5.
A bin has been placed in the foyer as a depository for donated canned fruits and vegetables.
The food collected will be distributed to food pantries at the Caring Place, First United Methodist Church and Pattillo Street Church of God, all in Hartselle. The food will be  distributed to needy families prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Other donation drop-off location are in Hartselle. All participation will be greatly appreciated.
