Youth Quake ready to rock area with Christian music

Youth Quake will be held at the Cullman County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct.16, from 12 noon until 9 p.m.  Entertainers will be John Reuben, Revive, Britt Nicole, Hawk Nelson, Matt Pitt, the Basement Experience, and Casting Crowns. Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the gate.

Special congratulations go out this week to Jason and Holly Runager on the birth of their son, Hayden Patrick Runager. His proud grandparents are Kenneth and Sherry Morgan and his great-grandmother is Frances Morgan.
The Children’s Sunday school classes at Shady Grove Baptist Church are collecting aluminum cans to raise money for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. Everyone is asked to support them. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
The Shady Grove Baptist Church Children’s ministry enjoyed presenting a play entitled “Knight Camp at Rock Kingdom”. recently.  Characters in the play were Carden and Hayden Roden, Jackson Locklear, Ty and Thomas Kerby, William Logan, Abby Campbell, Taylor and Colby Gray, Breanna Gray, Ryan Lacy, Jacob Peoples, Elizabeth Clark, Morgan Doherty, Jenna Locklear, Rachel Terry, Andrea and Crystal Carter, Sarah Logan, Patrick Doherty, Hunter LaRoche, Andrew Terry, Matthew Terry and Lukas Puckett. Adults helping with the play were Beau and Summer Terry, Mary Terry, Cissy Locklear, Doris Clark and Kellie Sims. Youth members who helped with the props were T.J. Braswell, Davey Vest, and Justin Turrentine. Congratulations everyone for a job well done. Everyone who attended enjoyed the play.
