Funeral for Bert M. Ward, 82, of Hartselle was Sat., Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Ward died Thur., Sept. 30, 2010, at his residence. He was born April 16, 1928, in Jefferson County to Bert Monroe Ward Sr. and Dollie Mullins Ward. He retired from Wolverine Tube where he worked in the casting department. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Jones Ward; a son, Patrick Ward and wife Jodi of Birmingham; two daughters, Carol Ward Greenhill and husband Richard of Hartselle and Susan Ward McDermott and husband  Alan of Talladega; a brother, Loyd Ward and wife Hazel of Decatur; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
