Eva readies for family fun at Frontier Days

Special belated happy birthday wishes go out to Connie Campbell of Neel. Her family, friends and members of Shady Grove Baptist Church enjoyed helping her celebrate her special day on Monday, Sept. 20.
Congratulations to the University of Alabama on its big win over the Duke Blue Devils by a score of 62 to 13. Roll Tide!
Shady Grove Baptist Church members express Christian love and prayers this week for William Hancock, Billy Cagle, Maudean Cagle, Mary Kathryn Carroll, Carol Preuitt, Stephanie Hyde, J.W. Franklin, Ilene Dialak, Lynn Montgomery, Laura Terry, Ed McClung, Tray Williams, Erline Ballew, Barbara Gillespie, Shirley Bibb, Bobby Brant, Jerry Jordan, Barbara Franklin, Bobby and family, Beth and family, Sammy and family, the Bates family and all of the sick and shut-ins in the community.
I want to invite everyone to come out to Eva on Saturday for Frontier Days.
Many fun-filled activities, including a big parade at 11 a.m., are planned. Crow’s Foot Antiques will be giving away two gift certificates. You’re invited to come by and register.
Happy wedding anniversary wishes go out this week to Dale and Hope McAbee.  They will celebrate their special day on Sept. 25.
Belated happy birthday wishes go out this week to Dana Lindsey on Sept. 20 and Cameron Boyd on Sept. 21.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Ray Gray and Shabree Vest, both on Sept. 23.
I want to send a special hello this week to my friend, Mildred Wigginton of New Center community. I hope you are having a good week and are feeling better.
