Ruby Irene Tucker

Funeral for Ruby Irene Tucker, 77, of Amory, Miss. was Fri., Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, Miss. with Bros. Jamie Stark and Bobby Joe Poss officiating.
Burial followed at Greenbrier Cemetery.
Mrs. Tucker died Sun., Sept. 5, 2010, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks. She was born Oct. 1, 1932, to Leonard Crump and Edith Mae Nanney Sanders. She attended Smithville schools and worked as a seamstress at Amory Garment for 44 years. She was a member of Trace Road Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and gospel music. Her family was very dear to her and she loved to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Roy Tucker; a son, Davis Tucker, twin brother of Edward; and a brother, Hulen Sanders.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Moore of Hartselle and Joyce Mathis and husband Don of Tupelo, Miss.; a son, Edward Tucker of Golden; a sister, Sarah Campbell and husband Wayne of Chunky, Miss.; a brother, Jerry Sanders and wife Pearline of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Denise Wallace and husband Scotty, Margarette Payne, Jennifer Rye, Stacey Jennings, Johnathan Tucker and wife April and Joshua Tucker and wife Shannon; and great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Patrick and Natalie Wallace, Shelby and Kameron Rye, Aubrey Jennings, Maggie Tucker, Angel and Devin Payne and Leland Scott.
Memorials may be given to Trace Road Baptist Church, 1201 Trace Church Rd., Amory, MS 38821.
