L.J. Dooley

A memorial service for L.J. Dooley, 72, of Decatur, MI, was Tue., Sept.7, at First Free Will Baptist Church in Comstock, MI. with Pastor John Vick officiating and Langeland Family Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Dooley was born Nov. 21, 1938, in Haleyville. AL to John and Evie Borden Dooley. He lived in Alabama  until moving to Kalamazoo, Mich. in 1964. He was employed at Checker Motors for 30 years until his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed telling jokes. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean; his parents; a son, Jody Dooley; two sisters, Martha Harris and Bitha Dooley; and two brothers, Brillan and Herman Cagle.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Doorlag of Hartselle; a son, Jason Dooley and wife Susan of Paw Paw, MI; five grandchildren, Cheyanne, Sierra and Zachary Dooley, Calab Doorlag and Gabriel Anderson; two brothers, F.D. Dooley and wife Sharon of Texas and Philip Dooley and wife Carolyn of Parchment, MI; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
