Future Wards
Robert Lee of Crane Hill and Sharon Smothers Waldrep of Arley announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Nicol Lee, to Wesley Brian Ward, son of Gene Ward Jr. of Birmingham and Cindy H. Ward of Danville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Ms. Evelyn Smothers and Mr. Ralph Gilbreath and the late Mr. Robert Telby Smothers of Addison and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lee of Foley. A 2007 graduate of Addison High School, she received a liberal arts degree from Bevill State in 2009. She is currently studying criminal justice and sociology at the University of North Alabama.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Dewey and Louise Hogan of Hartselle and the late Gene Sr. and Esther Ward of Birmingham.
A 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School, he received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Athens State University and is employed as an operations manager.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 14, 2010, at Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman.
