Carlisle, Blaylock to wed

Future Blaylocks

Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Carlisle Jr. of Montgomery announce the engagement of their daughter, Christie Lauren Carlisle to Jonathan Ryan Blaylock, son of Lane Hampton of Hartselle and Robert Blaylock of Decatur.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Narrell of Cullman and June Carlisle and the late Robert G. Carlisle of Vestavia.
She received her bachelor and master’s degree in accounting at the University of Alabama, where she graduated cum laude. While attending UA, she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, was on the leadership team for The Well at Calbary Baptist and was an aerobics instructor at the Student Recreation Center. She is currently an auditor with KPMG accounting firm in Birmingham.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Amanda H. Kolb and Roy Kolb of Jackson, Miss. and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Blaylock of Cleveland, Miss.
He graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor and master’s degree in accounting. While attending UA, he worked for the University of Alabama Press and for Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Alabama. He is currently an accountant for Wear, Howell, Strickland, Quinn and Law Accounting Firm in Decatur.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 14, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. at the American Village in Montevallo.
