William ‘Buddy’ Wilson

Funeral for William “Buddy” Wilson, 71, of Hartselle was Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Partridge and Curtis Ray Stanford officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wilson died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 3, 1938, in Morgan County to William Cornelius Wilson and Kittie Lou Jenkins Wilson. He was a loving father and grandfather and he loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Joyce Wilson; a son, Doug Wilson of Hartselle; four daughters, Cindy Poarch and husband Donnie and Pam Hancock and husband Randy, all of Vinemont and Rhonda Meeks and Jennifer Johnson and husband Greg, all of Hartselle; two brothers, Harold Wilson of Somerville and Pete Wilson of Hartselle; three sisters, Ilene Smith, Faye Houser and Shirene Crow, all of Somerville; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Maddux, Adam Maddux, Doug Wilson, Kelton Speegle, Brad Newton and Daniel Kimmich.
Honorary pallbearers were Brad Chambers, Randy Baker and David Appleton.
