Mary Ella Stephenson Nix, 86, of Hartselle died Sat., June 12, 2010, at her residence. She was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Lawrence County to Joseph Eaton Stephenson and Lillian Lucille Hodges Stephenson.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date with Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
She is survived by a son, Steve Singleton and wife Dottie; a daughter, Marsella Lynn Dyer; a sister, Avs S. Johnson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama or Meals on Wheels of Morgan County.
