Funeral for Glynn Rose White Tapscott, 82, of Hartselle was Thur., June 10, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry DeBell officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Tapscott died Tue., June 8, 2010, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1928, in Morgan County to Arthur Mike White and Emma Hollaway White.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd E. Tapscott; three brothers, Ferrell White, Fred White and Hugh White; and a sister, Martha Speegle.
She is survived by a son, Arthur Gregg “A.G.” Tapscott and wife Kathy of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a daughter, Connie T. Murphy and husband Jerry of Hartselle; two brothers, Bobby White of New Orleans, La. and Van White of Huntsville; two sisters, Mary E. White and Sue Coughlin, both of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Scott Murphy and Ben Murphy and wife Stephanie; and a great-grandchild, Elizabeth Rose Murphy.
Pallbearers were nephews, Lynn White, Brad Speegle, Barry Pike, Mark White, Drew White and Jodi Emerson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice or to your favorite charity.
